Es gibt eine neue Firmware für Aeotec Ltd. Smart Switch 7. Leider bricht das OTA ab mit Meldung:
”Node failed to decode the message”

Hast Du die Firmware von der Aeotec direkt?
Oder wurde Dir ein Update in ZWaveJS angeboten?
Ist zwar schon einen Weile her, aber konnte meine 3 Stück problemlos updates.
Sind bei mir alle 3 S2 Secure inkludiert.

Hallo @Osorkon, leider etwas späte Antwort. Update wurde mir über JS angeboten. Sind da probleme zu erwarten? Ich versuch mal das direkt von Aeotec OTA
Edit: Ich frage mich, ob der FW Update den AUfwand wert ist.

Changes how threshold reporting is done on the Smart Switch 7 EU to allow a change in threshold to initiate multiple reports if there is watt change that is above 0W (originally it will only change once between 0W and the threshold setting).
Completely overwrites the old firmware - requires exclusion and re-inclusion due to missing secure key.
aktuell nutze ich diese nur zum Ein/Aus schalten und kein monitoring.
Grundsätzlich gilt, wenn Du keine Probleme mit der aktuellen Firmware hast, dann brauchst Du auch nicht aktualisieren.
Ich konnte alle meine Plugs erfolgreich auf 1.3 aktualisieren, ist aber schon eine Weile her.
Und ja, musste diese im Anschluss neu inkludieren.
